Cala Granadella

La Cala Granadella is a small but one of the most beautiful and famous beaches with crystal clear waters. Ideal for snorkeling, it is located in the most southern part of Xàbia and is considered one of its treasures.

La Cala Granadella has been chosen as the best beach in Spain for two consecutive years in a contest organized by Antena 3.

Snorkeling: An ideal place for snorkeling, due to its easy access and crystal clear waters. It has had a blue flag since 1987.

Viewpoint: Cabo de la Nao is one of the most characteristic capes of the entire spanish mediterranean coast, with magical views of cliffs, rocky landscapes. An essential place to visit.

Hiking: Very nice route with spectacular scenery along the cliffs of the beach of La Granadella. With a moderate difficulty with some rocky slopes. Passing by a viewpoint ends at the castle of Granadella (small fortification built in the eighteenth century).

Distance: 4,5 km (circular route)

Elevation gain: 300 meters

Difficulty: medium (trail equipped with chains when necessary. Footwear, water and sun protection are required due to the high temperatures).
